Television: What shows are you currently watching?

I am watching Fear the Walking Dead and just finished up The Last Ship. Tried to get into The Strain, but it could not hold my interest. FYI, I restarted my reviews of The Walking Dead shows with a preparedness slant with the FTWD debut. You can find them here.

Television: What shows are you currently watching?

Seasons one and two meander a bit, but seasons 3 and 4 are some of the best Trek made. BUT DO NOT WATCH THE SERIES FINALE.

The Walking Dead — Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)

Romero - the guy who gave us the opus Survival of the Dead. His work was groundbreaking, but his overall track record is uneven at best. I think Dawn of the Dead and Diary of the Dead were his best works.

The Walking Dead — Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)

I agree with Tater. The zombie genre is not about obsession over death or life after death. It is a stand in for any number or potential disaster scenarios that makes you think what if this or that happened. Zombies, which do not exist, may cause less cognitive dissonance for some than say...

The Walking Dead — Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)

Re: Uneeda Medical Supplies These zombies follow George Romero's general rules: Slow and plodding, tend to speed up when on the trail of food, and easy to defeat singly but nigh impossible to outlast when a crowd of them surrounds you. The "ninja woman" Michonne was from the comic. She is...

The Walking Dead — Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)

Re: Uneeda Medical Supplies I highly recommend the show. Season One is on Netflix and Season 2 is out on DVD. You can catch it for 29 bucks at Sam's Club. FYI don't get attached to anyone. Characters don't stick around long usually and no one is safe.
