Started wargaming using airfix plastic minis and reading wargaming books from the local library, little soldiers HG Wells and lots by Don Featherstone. Progressed to mini micro armour, then got sucked into GW and warhammer fantasy battle. Also a lot of 15mm ECW, WW2, Pirates, Wild West. Gaming frequency tended to ebb and flow with availability of opponents. I have a friend who has been talking about this great game called ASL for a number of years. For some unknown reason I cannot fathom it never appealed! Then last year I finally saw the light. Am currently working through the starter kits and starting to buy ASL stuff as I see it. Main points of interest will be Brits in the ETO. What a great hobby!
Wargaming, reading, military history, computing, hill walking, music, my car.
