I am a U.S. Government employee (civilian) stationed with the U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) headquarters located in the Yongsan-gu (district) of central, downtown Seoul. After spending most of my career overseas in other areas, mainly Europe, I arrived here in early 2016, for my first assignment in Asia (at my request). I am a lifelong war game/board game hobbyist (since college); for example, subscribing even now to a couple of the with-game magazines such as the venerable Strategy & Tactics (Decision Games). I have played some computer war games such as the Total War series (Rome, Samurai, Napoleon). I may try it more often now that DG is merging with Hexwars, and bringing more of the DG inventory of board game (itself a misnomer except where there the map/playing surface has been pre-mounted onto an inflexible hardback support - a board; the coinage of paper "mapgame" would be literally correct for the vast majority of games with unmounted folded maps) titles to the computer screen.
