Guys! I hope you have a delightful weekend!
Wish we could have come, but it was really too hard to sneak by the finnish border patrols.

Say hello to everybody and roll low!

/writing from custody in Övertorneå ;)

I will! I guess I will now need to get drunk for three Swedish ASL players!

In the end we had 10 Finnish Players in attendance- given the current circumstances this was an acceptable result, we have at least preserved continuity as this was the 22nd consecutive Sissukoni.

Here are the final standings. Mikko Lukkari won first time ever.

  1. Mikko Lukkari 4/5
  2. Eero Vihersaari 3/5
  3. Tommi Kangasmaa 3/5
  4. Timo Kärnä 3/5
  5. Tuomo Lukkari 3/5
  6. Matias Dahlbäck 3/5
  7. Teemu Lukkari 2/5
  8. Olli-Pekka Kiukkonen 2/4
  9. Sami Pelkonen 1/4
  10. Mikko Saarinen 0/5
Now I will sleep a bit and hopefully can muster an AAR of my games in a few days.

It takes it out of you doesn't it? Hope you have a day or two to recover and good luck with all your future events!

Well done to everyone, a FTF event is a rare thing this year, so to be able to do it safely is a real achievement.

As can be seen, competition was even and thrilling - still we had lots of fun.
Hopefully Sissukoni 2021 (preliminary dates Aug 20-22) will bring more players from every corner of the world.
