An 'unbroken' AFV enters grain with a concealed Inf unit in it (actually in a Foxhole); the Inf passes its PAATC to retain Concealment. If the AFV opts to end its MPh in the Location of the Inf, does the Inf lose its Concealment immediately? If the Inf were in building or woods and the AFV in bypass, the Inf would lose ?, but we couldn't find the answer to what would happen in this surely much more common circumstance!

A 12.41 tells you that should the unit pass its PAATC it remains concealed.
It doesn't matter if it stays there or drives away.
Pass the Patsy = stay concealed.

Obviously the unit can lose its concealment at any time or when it shoots back.
And being in a foxhole it's more than likely to survive the overrun
I'm guessing it's just gonna sit there, with its undivided attention fixed on a very large metal behemoth sitting on top of it ! (or in the case of a L3 or a FT17 a very small metal behemoth)

But..."a hidden unit must be placed on board beneath a ? counter at the start of any CCPh in which it is in the same Location as an enemy unit." A11.19. Or am I missing something?

your right mate, a HIP unit is placed on the board at the start of any close combat in which it is in the same location as an enemy unit
but most importantly it does not lose its concealment ! (the same A11.19 - must be placed on board beneath the concealment counter)
It loses its HIP status, but not its lid :)

But in ASLWynn's question it isn't a HIP unit, it was a concealed one and it passed its PAATC
and therefore in the start of the close combat phase, there's nothing changing. It will probably win the ambush (Concealed -2 vs Vehicle +2 or +3 if BU) and just move away if he has the option and set it up right in the first place all

All that's what I would do unless you have an exceedingly good chance of blowing up the vehicle
keep your lid
survive till close combat
crawl away

Hope this helps
