I would like to make scenarios setups for VASL like the ones on http://vasl.info/scenarios.htm Is there guidelines somewhere and if I make one, who should I submit them too so they can be added to the vasl page?
Well, it depends. Even older setups, say anything VASL v6.x will more or less work if you use it. And VASL 6.x is quite dated.Be conscious that VASL setups are threatened by a high risk of fast obsolescence, as there are quite often upgrades of the program.
Thanks a lot von M.Here is an old thread that gives some insights on how to add HTML code to draggable overlays. In some long forgotten forum update, all pictures got lost. Still the thread is useful. You can copy/paste the HTML into a text field of a draggable overlay and test the results.
Custom VASL Play Aids
ITT I'll share some tricks on how to construct custom VASL play aids which may help you keep better track of your scenarios and campaign games, as well as organize offboard counters neatly. This stuff is not new for some of you - but I do get a lot of attention and private messages when playing...www.gamesquad.com
Some guy has also developed some tool in helping to create VASL setups. See this thread here:
New program to help set up VASL scenarios
I play a lot of VASL, and I like to take a bit of time to set up the scenarios so that they look nice, and have useful game-play information e.g. the stuff from the back of vehicle/ordnance counters, PF hit tables, etc. I had text files with templates for the various bits of HTML, but I got sick...www.gamesquad.com
This should give you a lead in.
Cheers,

Basically yes, but it depends I'd say.Is it ok to start from an existing setup from http://vasl.info/scenarios.htm ?
