IIRC, Texas ASL has something in the downloads section. As the title says, is there a guide to making a map for VASL anywhere ?
Just checked it out and the links on the google page are no longer valid.
Thanks very much.OK, I just verified this Texas ASL link: http://texas-asl.com/download/Ye Old VASL Boards v6.pdf so @RandyT0001 was correct.
Are they available anywhere? The guide s really handy but sadly without the palettes it not much use.
It has the RGB settings for lots of colors (woods, roads, hills, etc.) used on the VASL boards. What palettes are you looking for?The guide s really handy but sadly without the palettes it not much use.
Not. Much. Use.The guide s really handy but sadly without the palettes it not much use.
Ah now that is useful, cheeersWell back in the old days before I escaped the map cabal gulag, you would just export the palette from an existing map and import it into your own. I believe that the young 'uns nowadays allow for map specific colors using the data files that are part of the archive that is a "map."
Not. Much. Use.
OK then, don't use it. Figure it out for yourself.
I went to the URL shown on p. 2 of the YoB."Ye Olde Book of Map Making Secrets"
Step 1
Go to the VASL Map Cabal website or the VASL Map Cabal Yahoo Group (see p.2 for the URL’s)
and download the terrain libraries, color palette, and blank hexgrid for the geomorphic boards.
