I watched this movie over the weekend. Very good movie. Definitely not your father's-ASL Finns. Seemed like a much more realistic portrayal of men (and women) under fire to me.

I thought the ASL rules portray the Finns of the movie very well: individualistic, brave, skilled, but not really swayed by Officer or non-com leadership, but more by patriotism.
Good movie, but a bit long, if I recall correctly.

Sure, but those attributes could apply to many combatants in ASL. The Finns just seem OP in game to me. Plus, not speaking Finnish it was difficult to follow all the character arcs, but many of the acts of bravery portrayed could be attributed to leaders and heroes in ASL terms and not to the normal Finnish squad.
