The list above have been updated.

Jack Boyle taks the place of Brian Wiersma in the TOP VASLeague,
Andrew Goldin takes the place of Jean Fortin in the CAN/US East League and Jay Dragonetti takes the place of Boyle (just moved to the TOP VASLeague).
At the moment we have 54 players in the Second Line League.
I must mention specifically Javanabal Radjah from France as player number 400 that joins VASLeague in these 13 years

still a few days remaining to join VASLeague 2019 through the Second Line League.
At the moment we have the usual 76 players in the ordinary VASL leagues (32+16+16+12) and 57 in the Second Line League, from where it's possible gain the pass to the higher levels.

In 2018 nine players have gained the access to the Regional leagues and in this season play in one of them.

as written in the tournament rules, VASLeague 2019 has a late start and begins on 1st March 2019. Now we are preparing the program to manage the event (138 players ) . We plan to announce round 1 pairings on the 28th February.

Subscription time has expired and we are basically ready, CAESAR 2019 software by Fredkors is warming up the engine to extract the pairings for Round 1.
In this season I'll benefit from the help of two quality assistents to run the Second Line League.

as you already know the schedule in 2019 is not the usual used in all years from 2007 to 2018

round 2 : 16 April – 30 June
round 3 : 1 July – 31 – August
round 4 : 1 September – 15 October
round 5 : 16 October – 30 November (round 5 exists only for TOP VASLeague and Second Line League, so any other league have a long final 4th round starting 1 September ending 30th November) .

FOR SECOND LINE LEAGUE

Just a reminder for SLL partecipants: to this day we received just 4 scenario choice on 30 games being played, that's 10%.
This doesn't mean anything since your game could be well under way and you felt no need to inform us.
BUT if you havent already choosen the scenario or (worst case) haven't been in touch with you opponent. I urge you to hurry up.
15th april deadline is not that far away.

Hi all:

Ernie Cameron, as German SS player, and I as Russian, have just finished our first round game on the second league, "Adolf´s Amateurs" from the MMP Best of Friends, BoF 5.

It was a real close thing, Ernie sliping his Pz II behind my lines, making two consecutive sucesfull OVRs (one vs a comisar and squad under foxhole), and taking some mg shots whitout efect, only to get inmobiliced on CC.

I thought at that moment that I should give up, but a nice rally Phase followed with a bad roll for the Pz III on a minifield gave me much needed morale

After that I start running so his green SS troops couldn´t catch me to make the russian casualties he needed to win (Ok, I was a coward, but best run today to fight another day)

So he surrendered at turn 5... Russian victory

I enjoy a lot the evening Ernie gave me (well, it was evening in Spain, morning in Canada !!!), and his patience with my poor english!!! Great lad Ernie.
