D2.5 ESB: Permissable for halftracks?

"A tracked vehicle" may attempt ESB. For this rule does a HT count as a tracked vehicle? I assume so but can't find anything in Q&A

Yes - ESB your heart out! Halftracks are always "tracked". They simply aren't "fully-tracked".

As footnote 4 of chapter D has it, tracked vehicles were driven more gently than was physically possible because they might shed a track if driven all-out. D2.5 allows the player to take a chance when necessary.
