If I play on a HASL map, it's usually to play the campaign. By the time I finish that, I want a change - so it's usually then to a geoboard scenario. Or I'm prepping for a tourney - which only very rarely use historical mapsites.
So not played many historical scenarios at all. 'Got Milk' from Op Veritable is probably my fave. Both sides get to attack, some nice kit and a creeping barrage IIRC. (What kind of man doesn't like a creeping barrage? Closet euro gamers that's who).
First Bid from VOTG is a grueling epic. Probably a bit too dependent on the Stuka to be a classic as well as far too big.
Remember really liking agony, ate ball and angel from uncommon valor. The opposite of vanilla.
