I was wondering if anyone has had communication with Steve Swann lately? I sent him an email and a PM about six weeks ago but heard nothing back. I know he has had some health issues the past few years and was getting concerned that I have not even seen a post by him in some time. Any news shared would be grateful. Thanks.

Sarge, have you been able to get any word on this? Obviously Steve is a very well known member of the community. This has me a little concerned myself.

Last email from him was Jan 31. No mention of problems from him.

Wow!!!
I never thought that I would rate this concern.
I now live in a fifth wheel RV and am on my way to Kansas to visit the grands. We have very limited internet at most RV parks that I can afford so my responses may be very slow.
Heath wise I am doing well... Mostly just waiting for God to let me come home.

Thanks a million to all of you!

I do not remember getting a email from you. I surely would have answered.
If you remember the question, I will attempt to pay attention.

Steve,

Don't hurry 'home' too soon, you'll be sorely missed. But you'll have a lot of great company up there.

Grateful that "the elder statesman" of ASL is well and traveling about. Have a safe trip. Yakatcha when you return.
BTW - for all you have done for this hobby, you do deserve the attention. Thanks.

Marines, are not allowed to leave without permission.

You are not granted permission to leave just yet.

Besides, if "Vietnam, Republic of", didn't take you out, ya got nothing to fear:D

Steve,

Thanks for the reply.

You go into the "Fed's Witness Protection Program" and everyone gets concerned.

Stay good and live a good life.

We'll be glad to seee you here any time.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the well wishing.
I am not completely idle.
I am a national disaster responder with the American Red Cross.
Went out to NYC twice for "Sandy"; got food poisoning on the first trip but survived the second trip well.
Last summer I was out in Arizona for the wildfires and the Hotshot 19 Memorial; 16 hr days but a good trip otherwise.
Later went to northern Colorado for the Colorado Floods; ran a warehouse in Loveland CO; ended by transporting a Red Cross Truck back to South Dakota.

I am also a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) member.

I really enjoy this type of work and while I do not wish for more disasters, it was very enjoyable work assisting people in need.

Wow that is awesome. You must see Psycho a lot in your travels. Tell him I said hello. Seriously though I live in Greeley Colorado which is 20 miles east of Loveland and I want to thank you for all you did for us out here. You don't know how much it meant to our entire community.

Ya, John creates a lot of havoc where-ever he goes. It's real tough on the wife and kids.
