Many thanks to Tom Repetti for Vaslizing our boards, here is an example of how they will look laid out in a typical config:

Cool. I want it I want it now.:smoke: Why isn't this done yet! :D
Maps are done, working on the scenarios, I want them to be the best I can make them... )

The ones I posted in other threads are not final versions, and several changes have been made to them since I posted based on this past weekend's playtest results.

Very funky. Nice looking map.

If scenarios are to designed with maps orientated on different edges, will there be any changes to VASL to support this?

The VASL versions of boards cx1-3 (both a and b sides) are now available at
http://home.comcast.net/~tomrepetti/boards/bdCX1-3.zip

Simply download and unzip this file into your VASL/boards directory. You will see 8 files:
bdCX1a
bdCX1b
bdCX2a
bdCX2b
bdCX3a
bdCX3b
bdNUL
README for CX boards.txt

In order to use the NUL board to get VASL to properly position these boards, I suggest you read the README :)

Gary,

Very interesting concept and I can already see good possibilities for our maps. The good thing is that our (BFP) concept is different, more or less eliminating the seems along either 0 or 10 depending on how you look at it.

I think that with both of the concepts hitting the market at roughly the same time players will have and almost revamped ASL to some degree. And designers will have more options to work from.

Great times indeed. Anyway, kudos to you on the design concept.

I have to say this is one of the most beautiful things I have seen in a long time. But then again, I'm a total map slut.

Amazing. That water configuration gave me a boner.

Can you say river assault?

These maps make many new configuration combinations now possible. We hope that -- once they are available -- you all will consume many of them so we can make many more. :bite:
