Please merge 1/9 and 10th rebel inf. companies, so that together they make a full company.

I think we should buy more armor, they had a spectacular success in the field battle of G. I like especially BMP-Rs, they combine mobility with relatively good firepower. Now our enemy is low on armor, so we have to exploit it.

Please merge 1/9 and 10th rebel inf. companies, so that together they make a full company.The 5 squads of the 1/9 Rebel Infantry Company have been merged into the 10th Rebel Infantry Company. OP5 Starting OOB main post has been edited to reflect this.

I think we should buy more armor, they had a spectacular success in the field battle of G. I like especially BMP-Rs, they combine mobility with relatively good firepower. Now our enemy is low on armor, so we have to exploit it. via email from Temujin (he is having trouble posting);

"I don't agree with the need for armour. The biggest advantage i found i had in the last battle was the ability of scouts and rpg teams to move without being seen during initial contact. This gave me the advantage of then bringing in arty, squads and armour to finish them off. We are working in vary wooded areas, recon is the key here. Also we will no doubt be facing the UN soon, our armour will stick out like a sore thumb to their superior armour, planes, attack helicopters and infantry anti-tank weapons.. I think in dealing with them we need some good infantry tactics to succeed, we have alraeady gutted a good deal of armour and infantry from the pro-gov, so i don't think they will be back for a while."

I would refrain from directly attacking the UN. They seem to be a bunch of cowards, they just position, but never fight. So I would simply send a blocking force to the river, while our infantry finishes the job in G.

Armor is not very useful in a city, so I would send our mobile forces to block the bridge in N (if they fight from concealed positions, opposing a river crossing, then they should be equal to UN).

So I still keep my order for armour, maybe something AA capable, like a ZSU-23-4. Can we get one? It would be good against air assets of UN.

I also think that caution should be used in employing the armor and/or purchasing more.

You have 101 Replacement Purchase Points to use at the start of OP5. You need to purchase 101 points of units from the available replacement list (Section VIII of the rule book) and post them in this thread.

All purchased units must start in an friendly occupied Objective Zones (major urban areas and the airfield). In your case, Zone A.

Please give us 3xM43 120 mm mortars, and
1x MTLB and
2x trucks.

Together they are a mortar platoon. They move from A to G. Later I will specify more in the orders.

Er, I assume the above is the initial suggestion. :D I couldn`t seem to see any discussion in this thread---

about what to purchase?

As it happens, mortars would be on my list of items.

Since nobody else replied, I believe, this is final.
