There is life outside of SPWaW, but it looks kinda like a date with one's sister in my opinion.

And SPMBT is definitely like dating a girl that stutters heheh.
Nice enough game if you are desperate for that modern fix, but it is a pain if you are blessed with a modern computer.

SPMBT is the first game that I am actually happy to play on my oldest computer that has a PI-162 Mhz processor. Thats almost depressing

I am just glad they are making Combat Leader at Matrix.

It will make the worries of how to run a modern setting game such as SPMBT academic (eventually).

I have no quibble with SPMBT other than I have no desire to run an OS other than XP.

So my OS has to some extent enforced some choices where older games are concerned.

If they had not decided to make CL, I probably would not have bought the new video card, which messed up my secondary install of 98 SE which then got me pissed off enough to seek out Century of Warfare, which resulted in my no longer having a defense for retaining any interest at all in 98.

SPMBT is I guess collateral damage in that respect.
