To the guys from armchairgeneral forums. (if you have not visited the armchairgeneral.com site forums, I truly recommend it, there is a forum on wargames, military history from modern times to antiquity, and a free forum where you can post what ever comes to mind, and, if you have a question on military matters, just post a question about it, and the info will overhwealm you), so I made it here and am ready to play you guys, I would like to fulfill my pledge to the guy who wanted to play the crusader scenario, but if not, then as I have never played play by mail, i'm looking for a learning experience (dont get me wrong I have played hotseat many times, just not play by mail), so if not crusader, maybe crete? a short one to start with, say a turn a day?
please tell me if a turn a day sound silly, how fast do people usually play, do you wait for a sunday and keep on going, or slowly keep a scenario going for a couple of months?
anyway happy to be here :)

Well, it's about time. :D

You'll notice a huge difference between playing the PO and a real person. PBEM is much more challenging.

I'd take you up on the offer, but my dance card is full at the moment.

Same as it is here, though among the right-wing, mouthbreathing, trailer trash that frequents that dump, I'm known as "That Un-American, Liberal, a$$hole"...

Depends on which side you want to play, the Axis, or the British. IIRC, the British move first, so if you wish to play them, you will need to start the game. If you wish to play the Axis, then I will start the game.

In either case, I do not need, nor want to know, your password. However, you should write it down, or make it an easy one to remember, as you cannot change it, nor retrieve it, after the game has started.

Assuming you still have part of your turn left, you will get a message that "Approximately x% of your turn remains." By pressing the continue button, you get to continue along with your turn. When you no longer get that message, you will be prompted to save the turn and send it to your opponent.

Alternately, after clicking on the End Turn/Resolve Attacks button when there are no attacks scheduled, you will get another message asking "Do you wish to end your turn?" By clicking "Yes" you will also be prompted to save the turn. I prefer to append the file name with a description that will remind me as to who the turn shold go to, and what turn number it is. That way I send off the correct file, when uploading it as a file attachment in the email.

Do you mean, where do you email the turn, when you are finished with it? Email to iamjamiam (at) yahoo.com

Replace (at) with @ and remove the spaces.

C'mon guys! I finally get some fresh meat on the table, and you guys go and spook him.

In case you didn't get the turn that I sent back yesterday morning (and aren't really afraid, from these guys terrible and entirely untrue stories), 17lbr, let me know here and we'll try again, or attach it as an in thread attachment.
