Hello,

I have recently reentered the TOAW addiction, and purchased ACOW(to go along with TOAW I and II) Because I have not had much wargaming practice with humans(I have been forced to play NATO: Next War in Europe by myself due to lack of interest from friends), I would like to know if there are any good scenarios that are playable by one player and not by PBEM(just yet, maybe later).

I am looking for scenarios that mainly fall into one of these categories:

WWII Grand Strategic(aka Europe Aflame but w/o the PBEM req.)
WWII on the Eastern Front(like Fire in the East, but not too large)
Hypothetical Scenarios(such as Invasion Amerika, US Civil War, etc.)
Some good ole NATO-Warsaw Pact fights(like Armageddon 2000).

Thanks for all of your help.

I would recommend the Italy scenario. It is well balanced which makes it fun as either side.

There's a great Leaves II scenario out there covering France 1914 operations on brigade level, with a robust event system and a very detailed OOB. May be not your cup of tea entirely, but it falls in the right category for you by the virtue of its scale and complexity. MUCH better than the silly and undetailed stock France 1914 scenario.

i just began a game against the po playing axis and seems pretty good so far, but in pbem anyone did manage to hold at salerne until reinforcement came? if axis play correctly to me it looks like an impossible task for the allied now not sure it's in axis interest to spend too much ressources on taking salerne as the scenario last 80 turns, i think i'm going to look for the statistic of this scenario on the W.A.R.S

okay, thanks y'all. I'll try some of these scenarios(and others I have downloaded) and someday may attempt PBEM.
