Recruit Tourney TWO

The Alternates from Warfare HQ Recruit Tourney are invitingALL Privates and New Recruits from the Warfare HQ Ladder to join them in a Giant POOL Tournament! It will be called Recruit Tourney TWO .

The Tournament format will be ONE GIANT POOL. You will be playing simultaneously in a Shotgun Start. This means you will play everyone in the Tournament all at the same time!

This will be a scenario-based tournament.

Scoring will be:

Win 3 points
Loss 0 points
Draw 1 point

Tie Breakers will be Point Differential

If there is a Tie After all the above, There will be a HEAD TO HEAD match-up for the FINAL.

There will be a 4 Week Time limit on the Tournament. :D

I believe we are up to 14 or 13 members ready to play according to my list... I am up to 10 scenarios ready for Recruit Tourney TWO!! I have also completed the Head to Head Scenarios for THe Recruit Tourney!!(Tested by several friends from CM community at large).

Still need all the new entries to post here.. :D

I believe all the Alternates from Recruit Tourney have already checked in....

So if my timing is right and testing is done I think I will have the needed scenarios done by Tuesday... Just need to zip them up and send them out!!

My Wife (RoostersHen on the forum. BTW she is a newbie and played three training scenarios from CD today...Major win, tactical, and draw) is Doing the Drawing for who will be assigned which side in each scenario, Hopefully we will have an even number so each player will have equal time as Axis and allies... If not it will be luck of the draw..

I am thinking from my experience in PBEMing that I may Split the Tourney into Two POOLs. the reason for this if we do the ShotGun Start with everyone in one Pool right now as it stands you will be playing 13 or 14 Battles at once? I am playing right now 7 PBEMs and it is a challenge to keep track... Had to set up a filtering system on my outlook e-mail program to handle it... :eek:

So if I hear this is ok, then the top two seeds from each pool would play a round Robin at the end for the champ? :D

Two pools sounds best. that would be too many games on the go at once - especially since I have other PBEM games (e.g. TOAW) on the go already.

As some of mine may have to be TCP-IP due to a summer holiday coming up, do you know where I can find TCP-IP instructions ? Do I need to find a host site to play it on ? Can a game be started a PBEM and be finished as TCP-IP ?

Because of RL issue (surprise visit ), I will be trying to get out scenarios by Friday (maybe Thursday). I know of a couple vactions but I figure this first pool round will be over in about 4 to 6 weeks. You will receive a packet of information with the scenarios you are responsible to start the tourney with. You will have an e-mail list of your opponets included for conveince, and simple instructions... ;)

Ive, got one game in progress, havent heard from one opponent after two moves, two games completed. Whats happening?

I fried my Mobo and fedex will have it here on the 10th. I should have spent the $45 bucks for overnight!!! I can only access the internet/mail from work. Everybody who is playing me please contact me and we can setup a tcp/ip game to finish up our games before the timeline. If you can't then I will try to get a move done as often as possible.
