Hello, I am already playing a game of DNO and a game of FitE, both as Axis and am looking forward to start a game of FitE as the soviets.
If you are interested, may I ask how you judge your TOAW skills? Have you already played some of the monster scenarios (DNO, GiO, FitE, Braunschweig,...), especially as the attacker ? I am a veteran TOAW player and I think a scenario the size of FitE will be most challenging if both players are on the same level skill-wise :)
If you think you are up for a challenge (remenber, if FitE goes all the way thats 400 turns!) let's start a game of FitE 4.1 :)

I consider my skill level above average, and the biggest scenario I played is DnO. Unually I like to play scenarios in the range of 30--100 turns, they are long enough that the luck factor of the first couple of turns is minimum, and short enough that you still see the end is coming. :) 400+ turns is a little bit over my range. :crosseye: It is a long commitment. Can we try something a bit shorter? Do you like to play the 'Braunschwaig_7.1'?

So be it :)

I haven't played Braunschweig so far but heard that it's pretty enjoyable. Waiting for your turn01, my email is stefan.rosendorf @ hamburg.de :cheeky:

Oh, and no need for the historical forces option, just use everything you have if you want to..... make my day

I certainly like to have Manstein' help.
By the way, would you like to have some house rules/honor rules regarding to gameplay?

I can't think of anything specific, just use all your tricks (except obvious gamey tricks such as using undo until an engineer manages to repair a bride or something  ... just kidding, I don't expect you to do any such things :cheeky: ).
And house rules: just the ones mentioned in the briefing, as I said I haven't played this scenario so I can't think of anything else.

Bring it on

I don't use gamey tricks, such as using 1-1 AA unit to drain supply, so don't worry. I will send you my first turn soon.

Im playing a game of FitE(hours per turn), a game of DnO(hours per turn) and two games of EA(10-15 minutes per turn), how can you possibly manage to play 3 monster scenarios? Or the question I am actually asking, is how many turns you play per week?

both game turns (FitE and DNO) usually require several hours to do so my turn output is approx 1-2 turn per week. But that depends on the current situation, fluid mobile warfare always requires more thinking.
But in Braunschweig I am playing the soviets and defending is always easier than attacking, I think I'll need no more than 1-2 h to do a turn during the first phase :)

That's correct - the Russians in Braunschweig just retreat as fast as possible :D

Well, I believe Russian still have to stand and fight for some place hopefully, but in general, offense is a lot more difficult to do than defense, especially for large scenarios. You need to think about several echelons, reserves, and ratio is the key. I am still learning.

Hehemmm! Unless they're under the command of Foggy.
Then they're always wiggling into any little gap you leave somewhere.
