I downloaded/installed V0.93 of the editor. Is this the most recent version?
Problem is when I run BioEd I get the editor main screen but can not locate the equipment exe file the manual states should be in the graphics folder. I am sure I am doing something incorrectly. I did read a thread about showing all file types but that was already checked so I am displaying all files.
Can anyone advise this newb what he is doing wrong?
Thanks

v0.93.01 is what I have, I don't think there are later versions.
Read the 'How to Edit the Equipment Database.pdf' that is in the 'Manuals' folder.
You don't need to find the equipment.eqp file, you are needing to load the 'V104ACOW300.exe' file. If you do not have COW on the computer, you will need to make the registry change detailed in the .pdf.
Hope this helps, Cheers!

Correct. The "How to..." document was written before Ralph changed the code so that the equipment.eqp file was omitted from the graphics folder. In the next update (whenever that finally happens) there will be a copy provided somewhere, but it's not necessary.

I have done all the above. BioEd does load and run but when I attempt to load the ACOW exe it responds mith numerous missing graphic files. The first it lists as missing is Graphics\tiles_misc.bmp. I searched and found the file in the graphics folder. Even tried the editor in the graphics folder with no success.
Thanks for being patient.

Mr. Brite,
Do you have COW or did you make the registry change?

Slaps my forehead. The answer is no to both. I assumed the ACOW exe file would suffice. I will make the registry change this evening.
Thanks man.

I was finally able to get BioEd to work. Previous help led me to a posting where I 1) Uninstall TOAW3; 2) Reinstall without patch; 3) Install BioEd; 4) Install patch
Thanks All!

I think that is worth repeating. Thank you.
