After UN Forces abandoned Zones A, J and T during the 1st week of fighting both Pro-Government and Rebel Forces were quick to capitalize on this move.
In week 2, Zone's J and T were quickly "occupied" by Pro-Government Forces and additional equipment was pressed into service by their commanders.
Zone's A and G are still firmly in control of Rebel Forces.
In Zone I, Pro-Government Forces were able to ambush Rebel Forces moving East doing some heavy damage before the Rebels were able to melt into the nearby forests.
In Zone C along the border with Zone G sporadic fighting between Rebel and UN Forces was also reported. Local villagers reported seeing several Rebel Trucks burning well into the night after the fighting started.
All sides are still keeping tight control over casualty reports but it seems that the heavy fighting of the previous week has decreased to some extent. Perhaps all sides are preparing for major offensive operations. So far it appears that both Pro-Government and Rebel forces have had good luck seeking additonal weapons and personnel to bolster their forces.
