Here you can discuss your 3nd turn orders. I will post your beginning intelligence information so you can use that to make your 3nd turn plans.

I think things are going ok so far. What do you think Tanker and Waape?
You may have noticed since we had 200 points to spend this time we have a new Infantry Company (11th Pro Gov),this unit however has increased artillery support with ...x2 120mm M43 Mortar instead of ...x1 2x 60mm Mortar.
I'm thinking that the second recon company will join up with the new unit,5th (with its new replacements) and 6th Inf co's will stay in zone I but close to the Sector J border and engage any rebel force aproaching the town from defensive positions, this force will "soften up" any rebels with designs on taking the sector before they have to deal with 11th Co and 2nd Recon.
The 7th Pro Gov company will make its way to Sector T ,the scouts in sector T will return to thier units in Sector O.
Sector O:Now theres the big question mark, will we get a green light through some lucky intell so we can engage the rebels and rebels only in zone G?

We will wait for the Press release and our own intel to become know and we'll see I guess.Tactically I think it would not in our best interest to attack the UN,the Reb's are at a disadvantage having to fight both of us,I'd like to keep it that way :)

I like the buffer force for J in I, so it is OK with me.

Now, on the other hand, in O we are occupying an advantageous position, we cover routes (or close to) to both J and T, and the Southern Hwy to AA and CC as well.

UN forces seems relieable, they are happy to have us, and they are growing stronger. They might acquire finally some real high-tech item they can change the course of battle with. So I agree not attacking them.

If we just harrass rebs. in G, they will get points only for 1 town, while we get for 2. Therefore, as a war of attrition ensues, they are at a double disadvantage. They both fight UN and us, so more casualties. They have only one town, so half the replacement. We eventually will bleed them white, and the finish them with a coordinated strike from both our and UN troops.

So would not start any major manouvre this turn, just let numbers have their effect.

This is my analysis before intel. I will refine it in the light of latest news. Eager to hear other opinions as well.

Waape please discuss stuff here not in the other thread. We do not need to worry about Zone G at this time, the UN are going to put a hurt on them.*See UN post in diplomatic discussion area.

I have advanced all units west as you suggested. Since thats where the Reb's are definetly ,going closer can only increase chances of contact with them. Will you be fighting the next battle? Or maybe Tanker will reappear and fight it.

Being that the Rebels are still in Zone I (at least remnants from last turns Zone I battle),they could easily try and get into Zone J on this next turn.
We need to keep a company in there at least to defend against this.

As far as the unit in Zone T,they are not for defense but to ensure we get the 100pts for owning the Zone next turn,7th Infantry Company is also headed there.

I copied my last entry from the other topic, as you asked:
I would advance units currently in I from the eastern part of the sector to the western. This way we would have a tight cordone on G. Scouts could even penetrate G and act as outpost to signal any rebel attack. Coy from J could reinforce units in I as well, if they stand united they have a better chance than if they can be defeated piecemal.
So I would leave only a platoon in J to keep law and order, and secure I with maximum force, and along the border, even penetrating the outskirts of G.
Otherwise I agree, but I would leave T with armor, there is no need to keep those vehicles there, they are fast and mobile, not for static defence at all. Just move there a platoon as well, since rebels are confined on the A,C,G stretch, they have to break through anyway if they want to get either to J or T.
UN would seal them from the West, in M and N, along the river - we could coordinate on this with them.
