Here you can discuss your 3nd turn orders. I will post your beginning intelligence information so you can use that to make your 3nd turn plans.

Lt. Gen. Toth and Colleagues:

I have been out of contact, but wanted to provide some input into OPTURN 3 planning. The proposed plan concentrates our forces in N and attempts to clear it before moving to G. If I remember (couldn't find the post) we would put all forces from S and N into N. It was unclear what the force in C would do.

As an alternative, I would suggest that we move most of our forces into G this turn, skirmish with the Rebels while telling them that we will fully assault them next turn (OPTURN 4) if they don't peacefully withdraw north. During the skirmishing we would avoid fighting their infantry if possible, mostly we would use air and the new helicopter to pick off armor and scout. If they attack us, of course we will fight.

To execute this plan forces would move as follows:

Ukrainian Co (which includes 2 M-60 tanks) moves from S to N to join 2nd Peacekeeper Co. and UK Mech. From there all 3 units (Ukraine, 2nd PK and UK Mech) move into G. At same time 4th PK in C moves into G as well, attempting to close up with force from the south and moving carefully to avoid an ambush. The Peacekeeper Co. in S stays there to protect our road link to the capital.

This gives us 2 PK Companies, Ukrainian Co. and UK Mech in G. This force combined includes 4 M-60 tanks, 4 Warriors, 10 BTR and 4 Fiats--should be plenty of firepower. I would propose adding the helicopter and 1 mirage to scout, etc. All other units stay where they are.

If we could get the government to move into G as well it would be very helpful.

Col. Boomer,

the plan you describe is good, but I would like to execute it more slowly, first clearing N (there is a rebel coy still hiding there), then provoking rebels into a massive armored onslaught out from G - attacking armor is much easier to pick for the chopper than dug-in one.
Govt will clear I, therefore cordoning rebels into line A-C-G. Then, in the next turn, if rebels would still defend A with only a platoon-sized force as they are doing it now, an amphibious raid could take place on A, completely upsetting the balance of rebel forces. I am planning to train some self-defence militia in A as well, to provide some manpower to our forces. When rebs try to take control of A back, govt will hit them hard from the rear.
I would like to keep more reacting than proacting, given our good intel.
