Tanks can negotiate small gaps but not long 'alleys' or bends
Note not even the small PzII could get through the latter two. Instead the tanks will cancel the move order and re-plot their own route to take them the long way round, as they're doing in the "No" pics.

I did another test for "narrowest path" for tanks with roadblocks as well, my result is that even the slightest straight gap between them can possibly allow the heaviest tank through. But with a narrow tunnel zigzaging, usually the tanks will be denied, however I did not test enough times, not sure whether there is still chances that it will pass.
But this is an interesting technique to fool your opponent though: you can intentionally put a zigzag channel to allow your enemy's tank to attempt. But his tank will be like a fool turning around and around in or before that thing (with high probability) which gives you a perfect chance to knock them out with your well prepared AT weapons. However, this trap will have to be so obvious if it is by roadblock, so I am not sure who is going to fall for it ;)
