Is an infantry "stand" something light a mount for weapons?

Thanks for all the help. :D

Delta,

I have posted an article in the ATF miscellaneous sect covering the orbat for the 2000's.

Just eyeballing it, I'd say a "stand" is some game's proprietary term for roughly a platoon of infantry.

If you can't find specifics on exact infantry platoon headcounts, I wouldn't worry too much about it. You'll get pretty close with an educated guess based on knowing the vehicles and crew-served weapons for each unit, and infantry units are rarely "full-up" anyway.

That said, I'll have a look through my library and see if I can find some specifics. What decade are you interested in?

Thanks for the information guys.

Kbluck: I believe I have some stuff on British infantry head count from the 1980's. I have a bunch of books to go through myself. :D
