Does terrain affect the rates of movement? Do Inf take more time to climb a slope and run downhill faster?

Are Nazis fitter than Italians, can Italians retreat faster?

Uphill DOES slow down the movements (I did not test, only from memory :D )... But not sure whether they run faster downhill (probably not).

I also feel that Russian run faster than German, or maybe that is my illusion.

Not sure about speed, nut running uphill will wear you out quickly!
