The area is comprised of forested areas, rolling hills, and rural buildings...Our rebel forces are searching the area and looking for a hit and run style assault. I am moving our AA guns to hidden positions and will have them set up in a turn or so. Two trucks will remain close to the AA assets, in the event they need to make a withdrawal from the battle.

Lost a truck carrying an AA gun and got shot at by APC's supported by a M60 Mineplough tank  . 1 AA gun is threatened to be lost and I am scrambling the other one out of the area. No Rebel units were able to return fire. This will be a tough battle I am thinking.

We took some small arms fire and lost a few men. We are trying to ambush the APC's and outflank the tank. Trucks are moving out of the killing zone. The AA Gun is still alive and trapped...I am hoping to get it unsupressed into a truck and out of the battle, else setup to fire back.

Lost some more trucks and have another AA gun in the open. They looked prepared for us or we used bad movement plans...Not certain yet, but have felt overwhelmed since turn 2. I caused some UN Peacekeeper casualties. We still have a chance in this one. I am hoping to take out some Armor/APC's. Also, we really need to start learning to carry smoke. Only our scouts have smoke on them...

Rebels and UN Peacekeepers exchange small arms fire...Both sides inflict casualties. APC opened fire killing 3 rebels. Trying to outflank the APC and take it out. Both AA guns are still intact but supressed.

Another exchange of small arms fire and some casualties on both sides...The UN has tried to attack with an F1 Mirage Jet Fighter...It was unsuccessful, but did make some loud bangs on the ground when it dropped it's ordnance. Too bad our AA was supressed or else it could have been tested.

More small arms fire exchanged. No sign of the M-60 tank in awhile. Wonder where it went :o Our AA guns are stationary and not supressed, but all the trucks have been destroyed, therefore no way to get them out of the war zone.

More small arms fire exchanged. I am outflanking 3 squads of UN Peacekeepers who I currently am firing at from 3 different directions. I am trying to get in close and finish them off. I am also using light machinegun fire to keep the APC at a distance.

Small arms and machinegun fire still echoing...Lost a RPG unit to small arms fire...Looking like a draw is coming unless something drastic changes.

More small arms fire exchanged and a few casualties on each side. Spotted the APC again.

More of the same, however the UN Forces caused a few more casualties with the APC. I am trying to sneak closer and hit the APC at close range.

15 Jun 04, 23:50
More small arms fire exchanged and a few casualties on each side. The APC assisted in limited action and swayed the balance of the battle slightly in the UN's favor.

More small arms fire exchanged and a few casualties on each side. More APC's came into the fray and now there are 3 advancing along with Peacekeepers supporting them. We are trying to stop them, but we may end up serving as a speed bump..Time will tell.

One of the UN APC's has inflicted a few more casualties, but I am hopeful that we can take it out soon. Shots returned by the rebels, but did not kill anyone or anything.

It appears that UN Forces are patrolling the border between Zone C and Zone G to prevent Rebel Forces from moving freely between the 2 zones.

After a brief skirmish Rebel Losses were x1 Scouts and x1 RPG-7 Team from 4th Rebel Infantry Company, x1 Scouts, x1 RPG-7 Team and x1 Rebel Squad from 5th Rebel Infantry Company and x1 Rebel Squad and x4 Trucks from the Rebel AA/Transport Platoon.

Both Rebel and UN Forces are still active in the zone!
