Hard question. During CMBO times I liked the British best. CMBB didn't have them and I didn't play select your units games in CMAK. But still the British it is.

Soviet Naval infantry rock :smoke: Especially at the battalion level, all the kit that comes with them makes them a pretty self contained force, 4 atry spotters, ATR and maxim company, the later ones can have an extra rifle company and a pioneer company. Just add some armour and guns and you're good to go, attack or defense. :devious:

I went the cliched route, as I'm more confident in German armor and tend to attack more vigorously than with Allied armor (specifically that of the Western Allies), which tends to become one with earth, wind, and fire.

Russians. Cheap units with a good design philosophy.

Tough question that depends on the game version. BO is still my favorite, and there it's a toss up between Brits and Germans. If you get a force mix of BAB vs German SMG / Fusiliers it turns out to be an excellent balanced game. I haven't played much BB or AK, but what AK I did play I liked the Brits once again, if for no other reason then those wonderful 3" mtrs. The Germans had much cheaper IGs which came in handy, but their silly puny infantry ammo loads turned me off to playing AK that much.

Well after thinking long and hard I picked the Canadian Troops....now I know they are just British Troops dresed differently, but I am Bias on this issue....It maybe just me but they have better leadership abilities than the other in general. You know those little hearts, stars, lightning bolts and ? marks. THis is one aspect it seems that the makers did a good job in their research. the canadians were better on the battle field than most other nationalities.:p:smoke::smoke:

If you like commonwealth troops......the south africans use tommy guns which are better than sten guns. They make good infantry.

I am not sure if the Canadians are the same way. If so, they are better than Brit infantry.

Of course, I am obsessed with infantry!
