Flamethrowers & Pillboxes

Been playing a game where my opponent has a huge amount of pillboxes..something i dread! BUT NOT ANYMORE!

I have the Italian little zippie flame wagon and it can take out pillboxes like snap???? No matter which angle I hit them they burst into flame.:vegguitar::broccoli::banana::bandrum::redap ple:

I have never got close enough with a flamethrower before....does the man operated thrower have the same effect?:hmmm:

Well it might be a glitch or quirk.....?:smoke:

To answer your question, from my experience yes the manpacked version works well against pillboxes, but you have to be careful. If you get too close and the pillbox explodes, it causes casualties to the flamethrower team!

Vehicle flamethrowers generally have a much longer range, are easier to get into range and live longer.

That makes them many times more deadly than the infantry flamethrower teams you may try to deploy.

Used correctly they can all be deadly.
