I can think of several things that might make the game more interesting.
Engineer stations for Aeon and Seraphim. Not sure why these two factions don't already have them.
T3 stationary laser turret for Cybran. This would be roughly equivilent to the T3 defense turret the UEF already has, but bigger and with a slower rate of fire.
Automated tactical missile launcher. Nuff said.
Experimental attack missile ship for UEF. Good for strategic bombardment.
T4 power station for Seraphim.
Teleporter gates. This would be a "gate" that could be constructed at two separate points on the map for rapid transport of units. Expensive.
T3 EMP bombers for Cybrans.
Experimental stealth field; neutralizes Omni radar.
