General order to all troops: You are free to engage Rebel troops wherewer possible. However, minimizing losses is on our side is of paramount importance, so only do it when circumstances allow us to do it in an absolutely advantageous position. Government units can be only engaged if fired upon by them and no other measures of warning succeed. If such unfortunate incident occours, disengage them as quick as you can.
Zone AA
Note that forces in Zone AA reorganize somewhat. 1st Peacekeeper Company assigns its M-60 Mine Plough to 1st Ukraine Light APC Company. 1st Ukraine Light APC Company in turn releases the 2nd Ukraine ATGM Platoon for independent movement. These reorganizations are reflected in the below statements.
1st Peacekeeper Company
...x13 Peacekeepers
...x2 Fiat/OTO 661461
Orders: 1st Peacekeeper Company will defend the capital city in zone AA. Defensive positions will be set up and improved around the center of the town and fortifications, consisting of entrenchments, foxholes, wire and a/t obstacles, will be set up to protect strategic points, including the government buildings and media buildings (radio/TV/Newspaper/telephone). Routine patrols will be carried out throughout the week by smaller units of squad to platoon size, while retaining at least 2/3 or the company and the 2 Fiats in the main defensive positions at all times. This activity is similar to that conducted during OPTURN 1. 1st Peacekeeper Company may take over some of the defensive positions established by 1st Ukraine Light APC Company if advantageous.
1st Ukraine Light APC Company
...x10 Mech Section
...x10 BTR-70A(+)
...x1 M60 Mine Plough
Orders: 1st Ukraine Light APC Company, including the M60 Mine Plough will move from AA through W to Zone S, where it will join up with 3rd Peacekeeper Company already there and assume operational command of all UN units in Zone S. 1st Ukraine Light APC Company will advance along the road carefully, being alert and prepared for an ambush. 1st Ukraine Light APC Company will advance in column formation with 1st Platoon (3 Mech sections and 3 BTR-70A(+)) at the point and in wedge formation, approximately 500 meters in advance of the main body. The main body will be lead by 2nd Platoon (3 Mech sections and 3 BTR-70(+)) followed by the M60 and the company HQ (1 Mech section and BTR-70(+)) which in turn is followed by 3rd Platoon (3 Mech sections and 3 BTR-70 (+)). 2nd and 3rd platoons will also travel in a wedge formation. 1st Ukraine Light APC Company will maintain close contact with the Marine Scouts in Zone W to provide warning of enemy actions (if any) during their transit of Zone W. Once united with 3rd Peacekeeper Company in the southwest of Zone S (the area nearest Zone W) the combined UN force will move to consolidate control of the center of Zone S and the road leading toward Zone N. 3rd Peacekeeper Company, acting on foot and without its M60 Mine Plough which will join the 1st Ukraine Light APC Company (giving it 2 M60’s), will lead this advance, in line formation approximately 1000 meters accross with each of its 3 platoons abreast and the 2 Fiats in the center. 1st Ukraine Light APC Company will follow approximately 750 meters behind in a tighter wedge formation (500-600 meters across) with the 2 M60’s and company HQ immediately behind the lead platoon in the wedge.
2nd Ukraine ATGM Platoon
...x2 Spigot Team
...x1 BTR-70A
Orders: 2nd Ukraine ATGM Platoon will carefully move from Zone AA to Zone CC where it will pass under operational command of the 1st US Marine Rifle Company. It will deploy in covered terrain, dug-in in buildings at the airport, with the Marines and their attached Dragon Platoon, with good fields of fire to defend the airport against attack. Similar positions for APCs are to be constructed, with at least one alternate position for each.
Zone CC
1st US Marine Rifle Company
...x10 Rifle Squad
...x2 Sniper
...x3 Light Infantry Squad
...x1 60mm Mortar Section
...x1 M240 MMG Section
1st US Marine ATGM Platoon
...x3 Dragon Team
Orders: 1st US Marine Rifle Company will continue to defend the airport in Zone CC, maintaining its dug-in defensive positions, improving them with additional trenches, wire and a/t obstacles and to the extent allowed by higher UN command, minefields which are clearly marked both with posted signs and wire. The Marines will be joined by 2nd Ukraine ATGM Platoon. Patrols around the perimeter of the airport and surrounding territory will continue to be run by the 3 Light Infantry squads, in varying sizes of between a squad and the full platoon. The 2 snipers will continue to provide observation from zones with good visibility, potentially outside the airport perimeter if necessary. The mortar and MMG section will be positioned to provide defensive fire support. 1st Marines and attached units are to hold the airport against attack, and may destroy the local aircraft, anti-air units and helicopters being held at the airport if forced to withdraw.
Zone G
2nd Peacekeeper Company
...x11 Peacekeepers
...x2 Fiat/OTO 661461
...x1 M60 Mine Plough
1st UK Mech Infantry Platoon (+)
...x4 Rifle Section
...x4 Warrior
...x2 Pioneer Section
...x2 Warrior
Orders: UN Units in Zone G will move south into Zone N as a consolidated force. 1st Platoon of 2nd Peacekeeper Company (understrength-consisting of 3 peacekeeper sections) will lead the advance along the road and slightly to the east of it in a wedge formation. The main body will follow 500 meters behind and consist of the full strength platoon of 2nd Peacekeeper Company, Company HQ elements, the 2 Fiats, the M60 and the 1st UK Infantry Platoon (+), including the pioneers. The rearguard, 300 meters behind the main body will consist of the other understrength platoon of 2nd Peacekeeper Company (3 Peacekeeper sections) in vee formation. UN units will be alert for ambush and will attempt to control the center of Zone N allowing for a possible link-up next OPTURN with UN elements in Zone S, either in Zone N or Zone S. Before doing so they are to watch for Rebel movement out of N towards G. Until the end of the week (when they move to the centre of the zone for possible link-up) forces are to take an ambush position on the zone leading to G, watching for Rebel movement. Be aware, that a Govt coy is operating in the area with similar (ambush) orders - avoid contact with them if possible.
Zone S
3rd Peacekeeper Company
...x13 Peacekeepers
...x2 Fiat/OTO 661461
...x1 M60 Mine Plough
Orders: 3rd Peacekeeper Company will hold Zone S, concentrating on the southwest corner to allow a link-up with the Ukrainians from Zone W and prevent movement from either Zone N or O into Zone W by either the Rebels or the Government. Once the 1st Ukraine Light APC Company has joined 3rd Peacekeeper Company, it will pass to operational control of the Ukrainians and orders are posted there.
Zone C > G
4th Peacekeeper Company
...x13 Peacekeepers
...x2 Fiat/OTO 661461
...x1 M60 Mine Plough
Orders: 4th Peacekeeper Company will set up to ambush Rebel units moving on the road between Zone C and Zone G. It will take up positions south of the road, on the border with G. (on G side! We expect some mechanized force to pass from A to G, hopefully they will leave their foot escort behind them by the time they arrive here.) During its movement from C to G (heading to the ambush site), it will advance with 1 platoon ahead of the rest of the Company by 400 meters. The lead platoon will be in line formation. The balance of the company, including the 2 Fiats, the M60 and the HQ elements will follow behind with the Fiats, M60 and HQ in the middle of the other 2 platoons. 4th Peacekeeper Company will attempt to fight enemy units of approximately equal size and avoid combat with elements significantly larger, especially in Zone G. Move to G with outmost care, and if faced by larger formations, pull towards N.
Zone W
1st US Marine Rifle Company Scouts
...x2 Scout Tm
Orders: Scouts will patrol and observe in Zone W for any enemy activity and will be in close contact with the 1st Ukraine APC Company during its transit of Zone W, providing advance warning of enemy activity.
Zone C,G,N
...x1 Mirage F1 C
The first Mirage F1 C will provide scouting and on call air support for the units currently in Zone C which are moving to Zone G.
...x1 Mirage F1 C
The second Mirage F1 C will provide scouting and on call air support for the units currently in Zone G which are moving to Zone N (2nd Peacekeeper Company and 1st UK Mech Infantry Platoon (+)).
In performing the abovementioned duties, planes should be equipped with ROCKETS instead of bombs. They should look for both Rebel ambushes on the road ahead of the forces they are attached to, and when ambush sites are prepared, for possible enemy movement to be ambushed.
