Sunray and I finally finished the monster, 6000point all-tank battle for the final round. Sunrays force of one year's production of Daimler armored cars and Humber scout cars (at least 90 of the little rascals) was defeated by my force of approx 40 StuGs, 12 Sdfz7/1 20mm-quad flak HT, and 4 Pumas. His forces were very mobile but I had enough units to cover the whole map side-to-side and not allow him access to my flanks. His Daimlers whipped up on my Pumas, but then bounced dozens of shots off the StuG front plates, and with no HE were hopeless against the flak HTs. The 7/1s were great against the Daimlers' thin skin, although I worried about running out of ammo near the end, because the armored cars just kept coming... Finally we agreed to cease-fire.
By far the largest CM game I've played, the movie files were around 7Mb each, and plotting moves was such a tedious exercise that both of us were really slow in returning files.
