Hello All,
I am working on a Bn level scenario covering a Confederate invasion of Pennsylvania in 1914. It's based on Turtledove's American Front series & Tane Woodley's AF1914 scenario.
What I would like to know is, are my settings & the rational behind them reasonable for a scenario set in 1914, or am I way off the mark & if so, what changes would you recommend?
Thanks in advance.
The force supply stockpile at 100% (bullets & beans at their source, point A). My rational is that it's day one of the war & The USA & CSA have sufficient bullets & beans in their inventory. Between the "peacetime ammo stocks are exhausted" events & losing industrial units, the USA's force supply stockpile can drop to 55% & the CSA's force supply stockpile can drop to 71% (worst-case scenarios).
The unit supply level (bullets & beans at in the soldier's hands, point B) at 100% because, again it's day one of the war & their wagons & packpacks should be full.
I think that where things should go off the rails is in the formation supply distribution efficiency settings (getting bullets & beans from point A to point B). The USA's formations set to 60 & the CSA's formation set to 55.
Does any of this seem reasonable?
