Wanted to play a short but in-depth scenario, so here I am in Ben Turner's Poland 1939 vs the German PO.

In order to prevent many of my units from being shot up I performed a gradual withdrawal.
I established several continuous lines in depth to see how much it'll slow down the Germans.

I had to sacrifice some units in Poznan so I could gain time.

Let's see if this is the way to go in this scenario...
How do others handle the Polish defense?

I'm on turn 4 and aware of the upcoming Soviet stab in the back.

I earned an overwhelming victory... maybe because my defensive plan.
I thought Elmer would do better.

Maybe you need to re-write the PO's obj tracks...:D
Be interesting to see not only alternate, randomized, operational plans, but maybe alternate, randomized, operational deployments, as well.

You should play that game against a human opponent, you'll find the scenario to be much more of a challenge than it was against Elmer

And post notes on how you do it, eh?

(Someone should write a manual concerning the developement of PO structures, but it won't be me (sic)" (Silvain)

Unless you do it one post at a time, eh, Sil?

(nudge nudge)

As a matter of fact ... I'm experimenting with Brian's 'Operation Blau 1942' brainchild... not the new one, the classic on 20, or is it 25 Km scale...
Variable objective tracks etc...
What's the German plan?... will Hitler have it his way and orders his troops to Stalingrad and the Caucasus, or do the generals show some spine and can carry out their plan for a renewed attack on Moscow...
Have to test if I programmed the events correctly...
