Has anyone else tried this? If so, how has it worked out? I haven't had time to sit down and do it from start to finish but it obviously works from what I have read so far.

This is the method that Pyros seemed to use to get the maps for his ANZAC campaign.
I think it's an art form to be able to do this.

Quality map making is a very time consuming experience.
