Are we supposed to set up any options when we setup the game to play? I've patched up with the beta patch, and I see we have the match-ups, are there some other rules - options we need to know?

Don't forget to set "nextUsesOOBOrder" to Y in the Opart.ini file. There was an issue with the beta patch where it was set to N in the .ini file. This doesn't work yet.

I guess No Borders and New Flanking Rules. Other than that?

No Bordrers optional (won't make much of a differeance in this scenario). New Flanking Rules. And advanced rules (as opposed to standard rules).

Correct. Unless someone wants to wait till the official patch comes out, then they will be re-assigned. And their opponent will be given a new opponent.

Ok, I'm trying to set this up, but with the advance rules there are a whole list of options.

So what I have for this setup is:

Command and Control -- ON
Scenariop Variability -- ON
Fog of War -- ON
Environment -- ON
Detailed Combat Reports ON
Active Disengagement ON
Air Staff Assistant -- OFF
No Borders -- ON
SitRep Log -- ON
High Supply -- OFF
Movies -- OFF
New Flanking rules -- ON

I assume PO options have no affect in PBEM game? but they appear to be set at:

Intelligence -- Moderate
Handicap --

Are there any other setting or setup variables?

This is the correct setup and the PO options do not matter.
