As impressive as these ships were, that film does an excellent job of showing a couple of their key design flaws. That very low freeboard made them very wet in anything but the calmest seas and the poor design of the bow causing all that water to pour over the rails at high speeds. It made the "A" turret practically unusable at top speed.

Funny I have never seen any of those.

My Grandma used to tell me about similar OKW Bulletins; in Gdynia these were read through megaphones. She would probably be very disturbed if she heard the opening tunes in the video.
