I thought I knew how to do this but apparently i don't:
Is there a way to activate the effects of a Theater Option on the same turn as the TO first shows up?

Example:
Turn N: Theater Option: Invade Country A - Effect: Activate Event 2
Event 2: Open Fire (or any other effect possible in the editor)

I want to have Event 2 effects take place in Turn N (same turn as the TO appears) as opposed to N+1

If you want those effects to be dependent on the TO being selected, you cannot have it happen until the next turn.
Of course, if you just want something to happen on the same turn, that is doable, but I'm sure you mean the former.

Yes I do mean the former...I want the effects to be dependent on the TO being selected,

Sadly I now can not find any way to do it but I swear I did it one time but for the life of me I can not find it. It must be one of those..."the older I get the faster I can run as a kid"

I see you've also asked on the Matrix boards, so, if there is a way that it can be done that I don't know of, you'll surely hear of it there.

It can not be done as far as I can tell. I tried 10 different ways to no avail. Thanks for the feedback.

This may be a silly question, but can you list the event to occur as "N-1" by chance.. So that it actually went into effect last turn but the overall effect is occuring on turn N.
