Double Deuce

Since I have more or less officially ended the NATO vs WP Combat Campaign: WinSPMBT I have opened up the secure forum areas for general viewing.
For those of you not involved you should get an idea of the effort needed to run one of these of this scale from a players perspective (mainly those who need to handle the overall orders and planning).
Any future campaigns like this will definitely be MUCH smaller and with better use of management tools to keep everything organized especially from my end.
The newest COCAT version (MOCAT) is much more user friendly (in that it is easier to install without the headaches of the older versions) so that would help immensely.

 All those casualties of the brave detachment defending a god forsaken village, single handedly stopping a major soviet offensive, and youre telling me that its over?! over?!?!?!?!? OVER?!?!?!?!?!?:freak: Not even a medal to the widows of the deceased, or reparations to the injured... Thats the country that we fight boys... thats them.
(Good Job running the Campaign Deuce, it was indeed a logistical nightmare)
Oh yeah, I demand a medal for extinguished service. And a medal for bravery. And a medal for conversion of soviet troops to fire on their own countrymen...

And a medal for conversion of soviet troops to fire on their own countrymen...Wouldn't a firing squad be more deserved for something like that?

Double Deuce,
I understand for some reason you must incoperate Cocat/Mocat into your campaign structure. While I am not in favor of this I realize your not going to change your mind about it. I wish you all the luck in the world to make it happen.
When I first discovered this website back in early 2004 I was amazed by your concepts of combat campaigns. I imagined by now we would have been through, and finished many a campaign.
You seem to be taking a more rigid approach to this as time passes. Originally when we were experimenting with the ICW campaign,I thought you were going to use a more fluid approach thereafter. To me the whole idea was just have people fighting for something and having fun doing it.
Overcomplicating it makes it to much like work.
If you ever decide to return to the fluid format for a campaign I'd like to be involved, though I realize it's probbaly not in the cards.
