"Have you ever wondered what a particular World War Two tank or weapon looked like? Do you have a collection of images--photos, postcards or posters--that you'd like to share with other enthusiasts? Can you help identify WWII weapons for others?

We've started a new site and forum dedicated to showing, sharing and discussing the images of World War Two. There are multiple boards and sub-boards for the various countries involved and many different types of vehicles and units used. And if you have something that doesn't quite fit we have an 'unidentified' section and can always add more categories.

You may find some technical information but it's always a friendly atmosphere at the
WWII Picture Board (http://koenww2pics.proboards66.com/index.cgi)

Come join the exchange!"

The Russians used dogs to blow up tanks....they trained them buy starving them and put food under a tank.....so after awhile the dog would associate the tank with food I guess. They would then strap on explosive to the dog andpoint him/her to the tank...one could say the germans did not expect what was to follow. Enjoy. :smoke:

You might want to give some thought to adding rules & guidelines to your new picture forum with regard to giving credit to sources when possible. This will avoid copyright infringement & is also a standard courtesy to authors & photograph collectors.

The Axis History Forum has some literature you might consider:
