Anyone try this out yet? I was wondering what people think about it.

I think it's very good. Espionage doesn't add much to the game, and the end game units are pretty pointless. But the new Civs really mix the game up and there are some really good scenarios and mods here.

There is a decent review over at Apolyton.net

It sounds like it is a very good expansion. I plan on picking it up soon.

I went ahead and grabbed it the other day. I kind of like the passive espionage thing. Depending on how much you invest into espionage you can see what your opponents are researching and other things.

I have been playing on my xps laptop for the first time this week. Sure looks nice at 1920x1200. :D

Spies become a real pain in BtS (I like being a pain though hehe).

Barbarians seem a bit smarter and tougher now.

The outside the standard game new stuff looks fun. I think the WW2 scenario is very impressively done.

I picked this up and am very happy with my purchase. There's quite a bit of content in there. I sure wish I could figure out the corporations thing.

"corporations thing"

Might be able to help ya, if you could give a bit more detail.

I didn't mean to be so vague with the word thing, but I just don't get it. I understand how to create the corporations, like needing a great person and particular resources. What I can't figure out is when, where and why. They cost so much to operate from what I've seen that it doesn't seem worth it. I'm sure I'm missing something here and I don't think I'm a very good player to begin with, but it would help if I knew under what conditions is it right to found a coportation.
What are the conditions needed to make a certain city a good place to found a particular corp, and also when/where to expand it?
Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Ken

Isn't it somewhat similar to religions, except you send executives instead of missionaries to the other cities? I haven't had the opportunity to build one yet and I don't have the manual here with me so I can't say for sure.
