Okay, who is your favorite NFL team?
Pittsburgh Steelers.

Hey Don, Fellow Texan here. Residing in Houston. I go for the Texans even though they stink.
San Fran, though that's been tough for a while. Being from New England, I follow the Pats of course. I like the fact that it's a well run organization, like San Francisco was back in the day.

It's hard to argue with New England's record over the last few years. In some ways they are a very unusual team because the Patriots aren't surrounded by the same hype as other championship teams. Call that a lack of respect if you want, but they have never enjoyed the same level of respect and status that Dallas and San Francisco did during their respective runs in the '80s and '90s. New England gets the job done, but somehow people always seem surprised about it.

New England always uses a bunch of no name players and actually mold them as a TEAM. Not just go and get a bunch of star athletes and group them as a collective.
New England also has done well picking up players who have fallen out of favor with other teams. Cory Dillon had a great stretch with NE after getting a reputation for trouble with the Bengals.
We'll see if NE does as well with Randy Moss.

Randy Moss greatly hindered my cheering for my Vikings. I had to go with the standby, Saints for a while thereafter. Now I'm not sure who, "my team" is. I suppose the Vikings.
Good luck New England! He probably still has the skills, but will he play for the team (and not do silly stuff outside the game as well), and will he give up on routes. Outstanding reciever at times.

Green Bay :hurray:
Always liked the Raiders but they're hard to watch since they got blown out in the SB a few years ago. Hopefully Russell can help turn them around (if he ever signs :().
I like Tom Brady and following the Pats since they play as a team. Hopefully Moss won't be his dumbass self and help but we've heard before how he changed a few times now.
Always liked the Steelers but mainly back in the 70s cuz of Bradshaw.
Always liked the Colts but mainly before they moved from Baltimore.

Professional football? Bunch of overpriced talent. Give me college football any day. They have something to play for.

Some college football players get paid from what I understand. :D

And some get paid pretty well, but nothing like the guys at the next level.
I had a friend that played college basketball in the early 80's at a small school. He got $300.00 a month in an unmarked envelope. It was handed out along with schedules and other stuff. He said that the really good players were getting a lot more.
All in all it is a business.

Can't stand either of those schools. Most of the Big 10 and Big 12 are annoying.

Randy Moss will do just fine....I cheered for him when he played for the Vikings here in minnesota and still follow his progress he is no greater of a distraction than say tommy Kramer and his drunken antics were to MN vikings in the 80's , always has been players like these, always will. Randy's talent shows in his stats and his ability to draw double coverage alot, dont matter if its my grandma if she could draw double coverage that helps the team.

Whew!
My wife is an OSU fan, her entire family are OSU fanatics. MLapanzer is an OSU fan. They are so into it it is almost weird. It is all I hear and see from Sept to Jan. They are nearly religious (fundamentalist like) about the place. Buckeye fans are the Taliban of College football!
Michigan fans are usually just high on weed.

I'll second that - the Pats have been the best team 3 times and chumps
