just a quick note:
I still have T.O. to invade holland even after Axis declared war against it and Germany totally controls it...
at turn 52.
French declared war against Belgium whilst he was busy in Norway, he then countered by initiating T.O. to invade low countires...but my T.O. to do the same never vanished.
misfire of event or trigger is lost in 3.4d?

Ok, we'll have to take a look.
IIRC, there simply weren't enough events in the TOAW CoW version to be able to clean up all the events and the news strings. The old method for dealing with that stuff was simply to ignore it. I think now it would be possible to neaten things up a bit, but I've no idea of just how much work that would be, and how many events it would take to clear up all the redundancy and eliminate things such as described above.

That also should be something we look at after the first major overhaul is complete? I'd hate to change some things, add in a few new systems (of events), do the big clean-up, and find out that now we only have 20 events free or something. :)

I was bored last night, and happened to be looking at the Avatars available. I thought a couple of them looked pretty cool, but I always like to have a real picture of myself on here. So I endevoured to just make my picture look 'cool' :cool:
Darkened the goatee and shades, made my eyes glowing blue, added the tatty on the left side of my face, and dropped a map of Europe in behind me (it started with bright blue oceans, but I wanted it darker, so I changed it to the dark red).
If you look through the first page of avatars avail when you go to edit your avatar, you'll undoubtedly find the avatars that inspired me.
Is 'funky' a nice way of syaing, 'WTF'? :laugh:

Been considering my avatar lately too. I still have my old 'soldier' avatar from before you could use your own... Been considering some new ones. I have a few good pictures of Mantisesussis... (Mantii?) :clown: And also a few RL shots, but it's hard to get away from the giant green bug - he's served me well!

Yeah, that's the trouble, the longer you leave it, the harder it is to change it.

Well, not exactly. I had had this latest one since Nov '06, I think. So I thought it time for a change.
This was the first forum I was ever one. Thankfully, too, as it got me into PBEM.
