Tips for fighting the Galactic Colossus

What is the best way for Cybrans to bring this thing down? It seems almost immune to attack.

The best thing I've found is the T3 UEF gunship. About 10 of these will bring down a colossus if there isn't anything to chase away the gunships. I've also used strategic bombers, but it takes a lot of them to get the job done and that's an expensive fix.

Monkeylords will kill a colossus, but you have to be very careful about how you approach. A Monkeylord that attacks head-on is very likely to be killed. Even 2 or 3 Monkeylords will die in a frontal attack against an undamaged colossus.

In short, don't play to his strengths.
