View Full Version : No news about 2nd Pacific Squadron still after 205 days
No news about 2nd Pacific Squadron still after 205 days, no message or anything else like that. :upset:
Moreover, before 187 day something happend and days stop counting...
Can anyone tell me wth is happening ?
:surprise:
I don't know why but sometimes the day counter stops and when that happens all the computer-controlled events stop. The only way around this I have found is to exit the game. When you start it again and load the last save game the day counter is corrected and all is normal.
As for the 2nd Pacific Squadron, you will get news in October 1904 that it has left port. Then in spring 1905 you get news that it was spotted sailing past Singapore and about a month after that they enter the war zone and you get a news report about reinforcements.
Day 205 is too early to see anything about it yet.
edit - years corrected!
I recently noticed this as well in both Russian and Japanese campaigns. The dates progress but not the day counter. Restarting is the fix I use, just kinda sucked because the 2nd Pacific Squadron didn't arrive until late July.
edit of course 1906 would be even worse.
You were right, guys.
This is 275s day and couple days later I heard about Russian Warships shooting at UK fishing boats lol.
Is this a bug ? should it be reported to Norm and Jim ?
If it should, I would already report this to Norm and Jim.
Right now I prefer to ask others first, cuz sometimes bugs are features.
I really don't know if they read these and that counts, or they need an email.
Hi guys. New to the Forum here. I'm pretty sure that the day counter thing is a bug and I have reported it to SES. From what I've seen thus far, Norm and Jim do read this forum when time permits. I'm sure a fix for the counter problem is being worked on and we'll hopefully see it soon, especially if Jutland is going to use something similar.

Yes they read this forum, and I sent it in.
If you come across something that you think is a bug, send it in. If it is not then no harm done. If it is then they will know about it and can address the issue.
