ZONE N

7th Pro-Gov Infantry Company
...x9 Pro Government Squad
...x3 Support Squad
...x1 2x 60mm Mortars

8th Pro Government Infantry Scouts
...x1 Scouts

Briefing: Being stationed along the border with Zone G, this unit had a long way to go on their move to Zone O. Knowing that Rebel forces are operating in the area the 7th Company Commander decides to wait until dark to make the river crossing on the main road in Zone N. Just before dark he sends the Scouts from 8th Company across the river to check out the area. Around midnight the Scouts report the sound of movement to the South. With 7th Company still on the North side of the river, they hunker down and wait for possible enemy contact.

Mission: Clear the road South of the bridge of any Rebel Forces and continue the move South, then East toward Zone O.

After bumping into each other in the middle of the night and a brief exchange of gunfire with Rebel Forces, the Government troops managed to bring the main part of their men to safey on the South side of the river.

Among the Government Force losses were the Scouts from 8th Pro Government Infantry Company and the 2x 60mm Mortars from 7th Pro-Gov Infantry Company.

The few infantry casualties were immediately filled by eager local volunteers.

Both Rebel and Government Forces are still active in the zone!

Hi,

During that battle I got a rebel scout section to surrender to my forces, I'm just wondering if any information was gotten from them :)

Maybe we should ask some Americans to come and help us. They already showed their skill in Iraq. :(
