Hello,

first time playing version (d) for CoW.

Seems more balanced or better yet..gives the Russians a more likely chance to survive Barbarossa and others but still not strong enough to Destroy Germany quickly....
Got till turn 10 or so by myself last week before started playing again with PBEM and had noticed a lot. Wondering what is yet to come.

Played Version (a) with Jamiam and got slaughtered as the Allies because of my poor play but also because the Ruskies were so weak and I couldnt split my Armies and such.... this is better because I can split. But new guerrilla forces seemed to be a problem, dealing with pro-axis guerrillas...sheeesh.

Anyways...well done Mark and all others for discussing changes then implementing.

Perciverence pays off...always.(sp?)

(d) is very likely the last upgrade for CoW.

Makes a certain amount of sense. Even though I'll not likely start a T3 game for a year (or more), I won't be starting any new games under CoW either. As mentioned in another thread here, I have games going back to version 1.8...
