S.T.A.L.K.E.R. how good is it?

Hi,
I've been kinda 'waiting' for the game since I first heard about it a couple of years ago, but now that it's out I can't really decide whether to get it as I lack any comment from my closer friends as they are not really playing modern FPS.

I'd like to know from people owning the game here how well they like it, and also what they think about the hardware requirements, as the details on the box seem interestingly low.

The Game Is GREAT. Graphics a bit on the low side, but that also means you dont need a beastly PC to run it. Multiplayer is fun too. Get it! (or wait for the demo, play it, then get it!)

OK, thanks for that. Hmm, I haven't found any info on a demo yet, but I'll see what happens in the next weeks.
I need to finsih CnC3 first anyways ;)
