Hi

Is it possible to make moving on water (deep water), controled boats by the AI, by using waypoints. I test it but I don't arrive at something. If anyone has ideas, thank you very much by advance .

It may be hard especially if the units are fast movers (have a lot of MP's). Waypoints seem to work best when you have them out of reach at the end of each movement/turn.

Many thanks Mike for your replay. I tried again another times, in different modes. Finally I think it's impossible to make moving the boats by the AI. So my boats will stay in the same place.

The answer at this question is given by Mobhack:The boats are not moving
"Because the AI does not move them. It only has code for rubber dinghys and landing barges."
"Barges are those that are troop carriers, and so will go to shore and drop pax, then retire. Land Vehicles with amphibian capacity also know to go to shore as they will navigate towards objectives."

"LCS and LCG will stand still. They are for the AI simply a way to provide indirect arty."
