So what did people think of this then? It certainly looks great graphically (The lighting effects look excellent) and it's nice to see that the trademark Rockstar humour has made it's way into the game. :D

The only thing that bothers me is that once again it is set in Liberty City (a parody of New York City), albeit more faithful to the real New York City with the Statue of Liberty and probably with a completely different layout like how Liberty City in GTA:III was laid out completely differently to Liberty City in GTA. It still seems good but I would have probably preferred a whole new locale that hasn't been parodied in GTA yet. However perhaps this game will follow the same format as San Andreas, with multiple cities and countryside? Now that would be amazing, I really loved the variety offered by the environment of San Andreas.

I think they could have perhaps shown some gameplay though, I want to see how GTA:IV will revolutionise the GTA formula. Speaking of which I really hope that every gameplay feature that has been included in San Andreas such as parachuting, swimming and the stat system, as well as things from VCS such as buying back weapons after being arrested/killed and the advanced business empire features will be included in GTA:IV. Basically in IV you should hopefully be able to do everything you can in the GTA:III games and more.
